  1. Plan ahead and pre book a licensed taxi or organise a lift home
  2. Keep a mobile phone with you charged and with credit
  3. Look out for your friends especially if they are in a vulnerable condition
  4. Remember that alcohol encourages you to take risks you wouldn't normally take
  5. Be aware that drink spiking can happen to anyone
